Ballad of the Windfish
from Link's Awakening
Romantic, sweeping, majestic
(new arrangement feat. Ari barack Fisher)
Imagine an orchestra, influenced by the emotional depth of Russian Romanticism, crafting a piece that lifts you into the skies. Feel the strings and woodwinds rising and falling like the breath of the wind, carrying you through clouds in a dance of light and air.
This is not just music; it’s a journey.
Hyrule Field
from Twilight Princess
Adventurous, dynamic, epic
(new arrangement feat. Ari Barack Fisher)
Imagine an adventurous and dynamic symphonic journey, where each variation of the theme unfolds like a chapter in an epic saga. Picture a grand orchestra breathing life into the theme, with each variation capturing the essence of Hyrule’s diverse landscapes.

This edition caters to audiophiles seeking the ultimate essence of studio recordings. It maintains the original dynamic range of the orchestra, from the subtlest nuances to the most powerful crescendos, offering an antidote to the pervasive “loudness wars.”

FAQ
Scoring Sessions is a project by ZREO: Second Quest, dedicated to creating live orchestral recordings of music from The Legend of Zelda series. It’s an on-going series where fans can experience their favorite Zelda tunes reimagined with the depth and vibrancy of a full orchestra.
Fans can participate by donating towards one of two proposed tracks for each session. Your donations not only support the project but also count as your vote for the track you’d like to see recorded next.
Scoring Sessions will be released only after reaching their funding goal(s). Once we’ve written the music, prepared the sheet music for the musicians, book the session, record, edit and mix the audio and video, we will announce a launch date for each track.
At launch, the music will be available for purchase on Bandcamp, and the video available to watch on YouTube, and then one week later for all streaming services.
Donations for the track that doesn’t reach its goal first will continue to accumulate. Once its goal is eventually met, we will record that track in a subsequent session.
Yes! Donors will receive various rewards based on their contribution level, including high-quality digital downloads, acknowledgments in credits, early access to releases, and more.
The funding goal for each track is based on the costs of hiring a full orchestra, studio time, production, mixing, and other expenses related to the recording session, as well as marketing and artwork.
The progress of each track’s funding will be regularly updated on our website, allowing you to see which one is closer to reaching its goal. Once either has reached its goal, it will be greyed out.
Absolutely! You are welcome to donate to both tracks. Each donation will count towards the funding goal of the respective track. Though, you will only receive rewards once per track/session.
Each track will be released soon after the recording session is complete. The exact release dates will depend on the post-production process but will be announced in advance. Typically, a session can be booked within 2-3 weeks, and completion of the editing, mixing and mastering process can vary from days to a week or two.
You can stay updated by following us on social media, signing up for our newsletter, and regularly checking our website for the latest news and updates. Donators will be automatically updated via e-mail.
Thank you, first and foremost! To make sure that each session is completely funded in a clear way for all, Scoring Sessions is completely separate and isolated from the funds donated via Patreon. Patreon patron funds go towards day-to-day costs of running the project —past and future. Of course, you are welcomed to contribute towards Scoring Sessions.
If you received the “donation confirmation”, we have received your donation. Cache usually takes a few moments to refresh showing your donation.
